All our instruments and bows are sold with an inclusive guarantee and a trade-up policy of up to 100% of the purchase price. All accessories in stock are sold at competitive prices – you show us a competitor’s price, we match it. We special order any accessories needed.

REPAIRS AND RESTORATIONS
All repairs and restorations are performed in our shop by Constantin Popescu. No work is sent out to subcontractors. You can come and watch Constantin working on your instrument. Any major restorations that require the removal of the top and/or neck are guaranteed for as long as you own the instrument.

BOW REHAIRING AND RESTORATION
All work is performed by Constantin using only the highest quality horse hair and replacement parts.

PURCHASE OF INSTRUMENTS
Our shop is always seeking quality violin family instruments and bows. If you have an instrument or bow you wish to sell, you have two options; to trade it in for one of our instruments or to sell it directly to us for immediate cash.

CONSIGNMENTS
We accept instruments and bows on consignment. All repairs must be performed and paid before we can present the item to the potential buyers. Our commission is 20% of the selling price.

APPRAISALS
An appraisal is a document that gives a description of the instrument or bow, and gives an experts opinion of its fair replacement value. These documents are accepted by the insurance companies as evidence of value but not as proof of ownership. Instruments are appraised for a flat fee, and never for a percentage of the value of the instruments. Our fee is $50 for a verbal appraisal, $135 for a written document. Updates are $50. Appraisals are provided gratis whenever an instrument is purchased in our store.
